Health Focus Products Australia (HFPA) was created to seek, develop and commercialise therapeutic products and technologies for the treatment of acute and chronic medical and cosmetic conditions.  HFPA draws together extensive knowledge of the pharmacy, cosmetic and medical industries as well as high levels of business skills and experience. Headed by Colin Arnott (Executive Director), HFPA combines a team of specialised individuals cross the range of development sectors including members of the Medical, Pharmaceutical, Research and Marketing Sectors.

HFPA Chairman Dr Mark Baldock became aware of Phoenix Eagle and the OPAL process in 2006. The OPAL process can a range of optimsed fruit and vegetable extracts products that have the potential to address a broad range of skin conditions.

The first of the OptiDerma® Wound Support products were relesed in October 2010.

OPAL-A and Optimised Fruit Extract

Phoenix Eagle hold the Patent for the OPAL process and HFPA hold the Australian Licence to manufacture fruit and vegetable extracts using the OPAL process. The pawpaw extract produced using the OPAL process is referred to as OPAL-A, alkalised fruit extract or Optimised Fruit Extract (OFE®).
