Optiderma® Activated Healing Gel contains the highest concentration (82%) of the of the fresh Paw Paw Optimised Fruit Extract (OFE®). It has been developed for the management and symptomatic relief of minor wounds (including cuts, scratches and abrasions), minor burns and dry skin. The Activated Healing Gel acts on a number of levels:
Papaya has been traditionally used to assist in the management of minor burns and wounds Papaya has traditionally been used to soothe skin.
D-panthenol improves and increases the humidity properties of the the skin (moisturising), it also makes dry skin softer and more elastic. D-panthenol has anti-inflammatory effects and soothes irritated skin and also stimulates epithelisation and helps to heal minor wounds (shaving, skin grazes and blisters).
Clove bud oil is antiseptic and can be applied to skin wounds
